Conference: Towards better work and well being (10-12 February 2010)

Well being at work is a joint effort. The aim of this Conference is to provide information on and opportunity to discuss strategies and tools for the promotion of health and well-being at the workplace as well as their links to productivity, and also to present and discuss good practices, methods and tools, and service systems available for workplaces.
The overall long term objective of the Conference is to improve health, safety and well-being at workplaces. In this Conference, the concept of well-being comprises the domains of health, safety, and the work environment as well as the psychosocial aspects of work.
The Conference is organized by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health together with national and international partners.
Within the framework of the International conference "Towards better work and well being" and following the workshop on worker well being in Buxton (UK), a second PEROSH workshop on worker well being will be organised and hosted by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health. The workshop will take place on 9 February 2010. Participants will be experts from the PEROSH member institutes.
