PEROSH Workshop on Worker Well-being
This PEROSH workshop will take place at the Health and Safety Laboratory, UK on 17th November 2009. Participants will be experts from the PEROSH member institutes.
Worker well-being has become a central theme adopted by both policy makers and researchers that offers great potential to improve working lives.Experts from PEROSH member institutes are meeting to present and discuss broad issues and current work in relation to health, work and well-being.
In addition, drivers for well-being research and interventions will be discussed and in particular how these differ between institutes and nations. Based on consideration of what has already been achieved and what is in progress, delegates will seek to identify common needs for not only improving well-being, but also preventing ill-health, enabling those with ill-health to stay at work, and for rehabilitating people who are not at work following ill-health or injury.
The workshop is being organised and hosted by the UK Health and Safety Laboratory.
